black friday madness

thanksgiving was fab.

i made it through without falling on my cold-ridden face . . . i actually woke up feeling pretty good!

we took a ton of pictures yesterday . . . here are just two from the car ride to exeter, nh to uncle scott's.

we spent a lot of time just sitting around the big dining table,

laughing together.

and eating.

of course, there was eating.

{my family has always been conservative in the thanksgiving eating activities . . . we're not the type to overindulge like some of the stories i hear . . . ew.}

took time in the evening to go out and get a latte with sister.

we hung out in the car and talked about life.

i am so thankful for her and for our relationship.

today is the biggest shopping day of the year.

i'm about to go out with bestest

{sister is sick in bed . . . with my cold. whoops.} to figure out what the heck we're giving to our respective dads this year.

it's so hard to shop for dads

and i have exhausted the number of times i can wrap up a barnes and noble gift card.
