i just loved reading your comments yesterday!
as promised, i've made a little list of the products i'm currently using.
i tend to go through most cosmetics like fads . . . i discard them
almost as quickly as i pick them up.
right now i'm in a "makeup wearing season," but there are definitely times
{usually during the summer} when i wear little to no makeup at all.
mom always said you should apply makeup to make yourself look
like you don't need to wear makeup and i definitely follow that advice today.

i've had dark under eye circles since i was, i think, 7.
even if i don't wear a foundation, i will use my neutrogena brightening eye concealer.
i tried it once when i couldn't afford the ysl eclat and was surprisingly satisfied with it.
it also serves as a pretty effective eye primer.
in terms of eye shadow, i usually like my eyes to look bright and awake.
the sephora mono eyeshadow in aspen summit 23 is my favorite right now
for all over the lid and a touch in the inner corner.

i don't usually wear lipstick; i have to be very cautious with the products i use.
{i've had several allergic reactions from brands that resulted in gross
peeling and swelling that lasted for days.}
cargo plantlove lipsticks, however, are kind to my lips.
i've been working on a tube of the "lindsay" color for a few years . . . i think it has since
been discontinued, as it was inspired by lindsay lohan {ummm?}
but i still adore the color.
for my wedding, i purchased clinique's new clover pressed powder
and it has since turned into one of my favorite blushes.
it's gives a very natural flush that i really love.

since i am rather fair, a bronzer is sometimes nice to wear alone
or added to the rest of my routine.
physicians formula bronze booster is easy to use and comes in a pretty compact, too.
sonia kashuk shimmer loose mineral powder in angelic was one of those products
lucky finds that i purchased on a whim {like many target purchases}.
it's great for creating a sweet, dewy glow.

there are a couple sites i go to frequently for product reviews,
application tutorials and finding really beautiful things.
hours of tutorial videos and reviews of some really amazing products.
she's a guest blogger for estee lauder
and always introduces me to little things i'd like to try and purchase.
you probably read her blog already!
check out the "top shelf" series . . . it's to die for.
lots of lovely products and packaging . . . to look and and pine for.
~~~
your turn again, ladies . . .
what do use and where do you go to learn/try new things?
