a wedding day in austin.

i love attending weddings- so much love, happiness and celebration all in one room.
i feel like they are even more fun now that i'm married. i understand those
 vows and emotions so much more deeply as a bride to a wonderful man.
and spending time with great family and eating tasty food?
 super amazing, in my book.

 {our cute niece- she kept us giggling all weekend.}

 {pit stop! hers and his cheap and scrumptious tacos at torchy's.}

 {a refreshing way to end a day- a prickly pear margarita at the county line.}

wedding road trips = even better. speaking of road trips, my husband and I are thinking of visiting Nashville! do you have any tips on where to eat/visit/stay, esp. which neighborhood?

Love weekend wedding roadtrips! Weddings are just such a warm lovely time. So much happiness! And Austin is pretty much the best place ever :)

Also, I adore your dress. Where's it from?

patty, thanks! we're pretty big fans of austin too.

the dress is an old closet favorite- a "rodarte for target." i love rodarte, but my budget could (and still can) only afford the target version. it's my go-to party dress. i think you can still find them on ebay!

ohhh, you should definitely visit. i love this town. a couple of must-stops are crema for a great cup of coffee, burger up (home of the most amazing veggie burger i've ever had, but my meat-eating husband loves it too), pancake pantry for brunch . . . make sure to visit centennial park for a stroll and check out broadway st. after dark. there's so much more- great post inspiration!
